Strip District History in the details at the Yards at Three Crossings

The History is in the Details

Though The Yards is newly built on the site of a former Pitt Ohio Express truck yard, the thoughtful, modern-meets-vintage, industrial aesthetic of The Yards interior brings the Strip District’s history to life. And with the floors down and the paint up, we’re now focused adding the details!

See ties to the area’s rustic railroad past in the lines of the club room’s paneled walls; in the narrow, horizontal slats of the corridor light fixtures; in the linear gradation of the corridor carpeting; and in the antique railroad signage in the Backyard. Find traces of the District’s steel and iron roots in the club room’s riveted steel fireplace surround and in its bowed metal lantern light fixtures. Recall the neighborhood’s fruitful past as the epicenter for produce distribution in the colorful unit doors that welcome The Yards’ residents home.

Neutral tones paired with pops of bright color and vintage adornments mixed with recycled elements combine throughout The Yards development to create an unparalleled living experience and establish the foundation for a strong future rooted in a rich past.
